Born and raised in Kilgore, TX, our marriage began in 2002. We have five children who were also raised in East Texas. Remarkably, the Clements Family still lives on the same property dating back to the 1850s.

 

Jody is currently retired after being a Superintendent, Coach, Principal, and Teacher for both Kilgore and Longview ISD, and Courtney is a Counselor at Kilgore High School.

We both have a strong ministry background: Prison Ministry, Interim Worship Leader at several local churches, Lay Pastor, and Children's Ministry.

 

Although we both have been walking with the Lord for a while now, we experienced some family hardships a couple of months ago. It was during that time that the idea of this ministry began to transpire. God pulled us out of the pit, set us on the rock, and put it on our hearts to serve others.

 

In October 2019, the Lord called us to action by beginning to pray for the community of Kilgore specifically. In January 2020, we organized and hosted a twenty-hour prayer and scripture reading event. After the event's success, the 20/20 Vision Ministries, Inc. became our "bigger" call to action.

With these new-found ministries and community outreach opportunities, we are continually seeking ways to serve the Lord and bring the Kilgore community closer to God.
